Coffee and Tequila Relationship

Coffee and tequila are two things that make life better. Not only are both harvested in a related fashion, but they are also produced to comparable way with three main levels of roasting or production for each. Light roast and blanco, medium and reposado, and dark is anejo.

Tequila Espresso Martini

Also known as “El Jefe” translating to “The Boss” in Spanish. Combining the bitterness of the coffee with the sweetness of the agave, this drink is served best with authentic cold brew coffee. This is the drink for the coffee addicts in your life.

  1. Fill shaker with ice
  2. Add 1 parts tequila, 1 parts cold coffee, ½  part agave, ½  part coffee liqueur
  3. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds or til it starts to get foamy.
  4. Strain into chilled martini glass

If you don’t have agave or Kahlua on hand, feel free to use an additional half part of the other

Ingredients

1 part tequila

1 part cold brewed coffee

 ½  part agave

 ½  part coffee liqueur (Kahlua, Patron XO Café, etc)

Milk Punch

If you’re looking to add a pop to a latte, look no further than the Milk Punch. Creamy with a touch of sweet, this will put a little pep in your step. We recommend traditionally cold brewed coffee, but any cold coffee will do.

  1. Fill shaker with ice
  2. Add 1 parts tequila, ½  part coffee liqueur, ¼  part vanilla syrup, 2 parts whole milk,1 part cold brewed coffee
  3. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds to create a more creamy profile
  4. Serve into glass
