SoCal vibes beer got started with their influence with SoAmerican flair. In a world with enough lagers to go around, they wanted to bring something different.
The company is located in south LA, close to Artesia Boulevard. This location is only about 10 minutes from the Long Beach Airpor, makings for a perfect place to stop after or even before catching a plane. SoCal Vibe’s co-founder and head brewer, Richard Langston, likes to experiment with different flavors when creating new recipes for their beer. Some of his most famous beers are Vida Y Cerveza (life and beer), Menage A Trois IPA, Elote Cream Ale made with fresh corn off the cob and Pina Colada Wheat Beer made with coconut milk, pineapple juice and hints of rum.
Every Saturday and Sunday, SoCal Vibe’s offers their brunch menu. This menu has some delicious meals that go well with the beers they offer on tap. For $5, you can buy a flight or try all four for $20. You can also choose to sample 4 oz for $2, 10 oz for $4, 16 oz for $5, and 22 oz pours at about $7-$9, depending on the beer.
